We already know about the broccoli, the sweet potato, salad, chicken blah blah.

Let's talk about something different.

Here are some of my personal favourite foods that you can consider adding to your diet.

Keep in mind, they change from time to time because I like to switch it up but these are my tried and true favourite healthy snacks and food that I always come back to.

1. Tambarind or rich antioxidant unique fruit

I spoke about this briefly in my halloween post and still stand by it.

This is one of my favourite fruits and it has a ton of nutrients to support it's interesting looking exterior.

If you don't like tambarind then include a unique antioxidant rich fruit into your diet. Check out my post about Nature's Candy to find out more. Type it in the search box to the right to check it out.

2. Seaweed snacks

Low in calories (seriously one pack has 10 calories), salty, crunchy and packed full of nutrients one of the most important being iodine which we often don't get in our diets.

I am however aware of what's happening to our oceans and

For instance, studies have shown that they are finding more and more plastics in not just our oceans, but in our bodies from the food we're consuming.

3. mm

4. Xyitol Chewing Gum

Okay so this isn't exactly a food but it is something your body somewhat consumes.

Xyitol is a natural sugar like stevia.

5. Meal prepped smoothies

Just like you meal prep dishes i meal prep my green smoothie. I blend up a large batch of avacods, bananas, spinach, kale, and aloe vera juice and pour the liquid into seperate mason jars. from there i include the vitmain d dropsm collagen and --to each mason jar, shake and store in the fridge and i'm set for the week.

of course it's better if you're smoothies are fresh but I did not have time to fit that into my schedule nor did i want to.

6. Seaweed topping with dried fish

I know, it sounds gross. But sprinkle this over some rice and it really is delicious!

7.

8.

9. Kombucha

10.
